My Educational JourneyGayle Harris-Neely, Principal
“Education is for improving the lives of others and for leaving your community and world better than you found it (Marian Wright Edelman).” I grew up on the south side of Chicago, graduated from both a Chicago Public elementary and high school. I have been an educator since 1991. My experiences include: diverse learners assistant, preschool teacher & director, high school teacher, intervention specialist, counselor, high & elementary administrator, multicultural club sponsor, pom pom & cheer-leading coach, Girl Scout leader and much more. I have a BA degree in teaching and two master degrees in counseling and educational leadership. During my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three amazing daughters, two of which are also educators. |
